The GSGB August Meeting was played over two of Yorkshire’s finest courses when we visited Alwoodley and Fulford.
The Golf Society of Great Britain AGM finally returned to Carden Park in Cheshire on 20th/21st July after the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to Covid.
Following the postponement of the May meeting it felt good to be back to GSGB business with over 70 members in attendance at Yelverton and St Mellion last week.
Following the postponement of all of our earlier meetings during 2020 it was a relief to be able to complete the September event at Hornsea and Ganton.
The GSGB’s first meeting of the 2019 season was played at Woodhall Spa, home to the relatively modern Bracken layout and the world famous Hotchkin course.
After a rather damp start to the summer, a more settled spell of dry weather greeted our group of 41 members in North Yorkshire, much to the relief of everyone who took part.
The 2019 Golf Society of Great Britain AGM was held at East Sussex National on 23rd/24th July 2019
The GSGB August Meeting took place over two of Lancashire’s oldest and most famous links courses when we visited St Annes Old Links and Fairhaven.
The GSGB September Meeting straddled the county lines of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire when we visited Moor Park, playing the High Course on day one, and Beaconsfield on day two.
