Fixby Hall - The Clubhouse

The clubhouse, Fixby Hall, is one of the best-appointed clubhouses in the country and reflects the good taste of the 18th century and the wealth of the industrial 19th century.

The Club is the base for the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs and has recently hosted the England Men’s Team Championship and the Yorkshire 1st Division Championships.

Huddersfield can truly be called the Home of Yorkshire Golf

Huddersfield GC in the evening

The 6,500-yard course is of the highest quality and presentation and the Club has invested heavily in its maintenance. The greens, prepared to USGA standard, are quick-drying, while the fairways are often fast-running, ensuring  an excellent game.

Recently there has been a £300,000 bunker renovation project delivering improved consistency and strategy, while restoring the traditional character of many of the holes.
